ELVIS PRESLEY "The KING"

from $29.99

The King of Rock and Roll was born January 8, 1935. Named Elvis Aaron Presley, he is one of the most influential icons of the 20th century. When Elvis first appeared on television his hip swaying motions caused parent to jump off the couch and blindfold their children or quickly change the channel. Because of the uproar, future TV appearances by Elvis, who some called the "devil himself", were prohibited to show him "below the waste". He influenced a generation and helped catapult a little band from Liverpool, England who eventually gave him quite a run for the money.

Unfortunately he died young at the hands of enablers who didn't dare say NO to the King's drug problem. Elvis left an amazing void in Rock and Roll and many of us were completely devastated as he "left the building" forever.

Thanks to the money-hungry villainous ways of today's media... although his weight was only a "problem of illness" in his last years... some will remember his image forever at his worst time.
